Samira | Tapas

Kushalnagar

'Samira,' a Sanskrit word for 'cool breeze' is a villa designed to keep in mind a visually light space. The design consisted of greys and blues with Mangalore tiles for the ceiling and Terazzo tiles as the flooring.

'Tapas,' the Sanskrit word for 'warmth,' is the second villa which has a more intimate feeling. The red oxide flooring, exposed concrete ceiling with brick walls are meant to make the visitors feel connected with the Earth.

Together the villas provide a balance between the two elements; 'Samira' and 'Tapas.'
